I wish I could fly. If I could grow wings. Stretched out from the flesh. My freedom it would bring. Songs of praise I would sing. Stuck in a cell. A mental hell. This is no place for me to dwell. My only light. Distorted sight. My six-by-six block. My nature wall of light. Though these walls surround me, they cannot hold my soul. God is writing freedom, and He is in control. But somewhere deep inside me, there is still a flame. Every prayer I whisper calls upon Your name.

Light the way, light the way. Through the dark, He will see you through, for He is not done with you. Your Word is a lamp to my feet, a light to even the darkest street. The Lord is my light, my salvation. Whom shall I fear? For He is always near. When the road is long, when your faith feels small, keep your eyes upon the Lord. He will never let you fall. You are the salt and the light of this world. Let your light shine before the Lord.

Before my feet hit the floor, I put on the full Armor of God. Before I face this world, I choose to stand in Christ. Holy Spirit, prepare my heart, strengthen my faith, and lead me as I put on each piece of Your armor. I put on Your Armor. I stand in Your strength. Piece by piece, You cover me. I walk by faith. I stand in Christ. Holy Spirit, lead me today. Today I stand fully clothed in the Armor of God. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

A nation that will rise up, a kingdom no longer tied up. No more oppression, God has released the blessin'. Rise up like leavened bread, stand on what the Lord hath said. Bear your fruit and lay the first at the altar; the will of God will not falter. Proclaim in Jesus' name, all things shall be forever changed. Lift your eyes and do not fear, the Lord is faithful, ever near. From every nation, tribe, and tongue. Let songs of praise forever be sung. His mercy leads us day by day, His truth will always light the way.
